Deleting All My Social Media Accounts

I decided to delete all of my social media accounts, because I haven’t been feeling all that sociable for a while now. I feel stressed. I feel like everybody’s problems are my problems, and everybody’s business is my business, and that’s not good. I need some breathing room, because I CAN’T BREATHE. I need to hit the reset button.

Social media isn’t for everyone. If you are suffering from anxiety and depression, being around a bunch of hostile, ignorant, bigoted people is not the move. You need to get as far away from that negativity as possible or it will infect you, and you will become like them. Dead inside. I have to make my mental health my #1 priority, so I’m walking away. Right now, I don’t know when or if I’ll go back to social media.

I deleted my Facebook account a few years ago. I’ve just deleted my Twitter, Instagram, and Reddit accounts. I’m already feeling that knot on the back of my neck start to dissolve. My brow is starting to unfurrow. What is this on my lips? Oh, that’s a fucking smile. I haven’t had any of those in a while. ‘Know what? The next sunny day we have, I’m going for a walk in the park. I hear they have air there.
